Well, you ask all the right questions, don’t you? Of course, you do — you’re not the type to leave your renovation up to chance. When it comes to your home, you want to love the way it looks and have confidence that your materials will support & endure everyday life.
So, how do you know if a Design Kit will work in your home? Here are 3 ways we’ve designed each to be versatile AND fast-track your success…
#1.) Design Kits are Based on a Common U.S. Bathroom Footprint
Our Design Kits are based on the most common American bathroom footprint. I have been inside hundreds of clients’ bathrooms around the country (as a full-service interior designer), and even though no two bathrooms are exactly the same, they all follow the same general layout.
That said, even if your bathroom footprint is a bit different than the one you’ll see in your Design Kit’s renderings (shown in the image below), the kit will still give you the guidance you need to design it well. You can also lean on your General Contractor for final dimension confirmation.
For example, the vanity options we include in your Design Kit are always available in multiple widths. If you aren’t sure which width is right for your space, your GC will let you know. Our included Renovation Guidebook will also walk you through making smart decisions for each element of the bathroom, regardless of its size or shape.
#2.) A Variety of No-Fail Options to Choose From
Each Design Kit offers alternative options for almost everything. And the best part is… you can’t make a mistake! We have designed the kit to look beautiful and support a long-lasting bathroom no matter which materials you choose.
For example, we have tile options for converting your bathroom to shower-only OR to have a stand-alone shower and a free-standing tub. Not all bathrooms are large enough to accommodate both, but again, your GC can advise you on this and you’ll be prepared for either scenario. (Our goal is to equip you for any reality or option you want!)
You also have multiple options for materials based on price point, style, etc. Again, choose what speaks to you and you can’t go wrong!
#3.) Style, Longevity & ROI, No Matter Your Home
When it comes to selecting a Design Kit, you may be wondering whether it will fit with the style of the rest of your home. My suggestion? Select a Design Kit that resonates with your personal style, period, whether it’s already in your home or is the one you dream of!
