This modern coastal kitchen renovation in Harvest Hills was for the loveliest, zen client from California. The existing footprint worked, which meant we didn’t need to move utilities, but the style & functionality was dated: short and traditional cabinets, shallow island seating (where bruised knees were the daily special), dark porcelain tile, & more.

Following our clients’ request for relaxed, modern, & Malibu-inspired style, we pulled together a design concept that’s fresh and packed with purpose. Custom cabinetry in rift sawn white oak makes a statement, along with stunning gray waterfall countertops, blown glass pendants, dual dishwashers, a beverage center with a moody charcoal backsplash, & a breezy breakfast nook with a view.
