Primera Project Game Room

The porch off the side of this 1930s Historic Monte Vista house was once acting as storage and a bike closet & we sought to bring it back to life! Our goal was to create a space where the big kids AND mom and dad wanted to hang out. We created several zones where the family could create, game, lego and lounge. A rug was added over the original floor to soften the room and custom chairs make us never want to leave! A built in bench does double duty as storage and a sunny spot curl up with a book. Wall to wall bookshelves house the family Lego creations and modern black accents make this a space that everyone wants to be. What a transformation!

Before & After

I learned that our home can be both beautiful and functional. And it doesn't cost a fortune to make a huge impact. I also learned to trust her. She really took our input and transformed our home in a most stunning and cohesive way. It's comfortable, beautiful, and most of all, brings the family together...especially the playroom!
