It’s no secret that our design services are incredibly comprehensive for renovations & furnishing projects. Along with a gorgeous design packed with high functionality to bring ease to your home & routine, we give you everything you need to implement it yourself. It honestly couldn’t be easier.
But… what if you do want more?
This is where our “Add-Ons” come in. We have a variety of additional services that don’t stand alone, but can be added onto your interior design project. Think of these as à la carte design options, helping you get the absolute most out of your design experience. exactly what you need, nothing more and nothing less.
If you’re considering working with us, here are some of the extra bonuses you’ll get to choose from…
Add-On #1: Shop the Showroom
Having access to a Designer Showroom is one of the biggest perks to working with a designer, as most showrooms are not open directly to consumers. While not all designers take their clients to tour the showroom, we love to offer this experience to our San Antonio locals. Here are a few key advantages, but you can find even more here.
Top Quality: Our local showroom carries high-quality pieces you won’t find anywhere else. We will select and customize the best options for you & your home, eliminating the overwhelm that often accompanies furniture shopping.
Customization: Every part of your new piece of furniture will be customized to your preferences, from the type & color of a sofa’s arms and legs, to the way seams are finished, resulting in a unique piece, personalized just for you. You’re welcome to join us in the showroom to see & feel samples or sit-test our selections for your full confidence.
Exceptional Service: We handle the ordering of your pieces & oversee white glove delivery directly to your home. No scheduling to navigate. No cardboard to clean up. Just furniture installed in your home precisely where it should be according to our design plan.
P.S. Renovating your kitchen with us & think that this service doesn’t apply to you? Think again! You can Shop the Showroom for another space in your home regardless of what we’re renovating. The clients from our Emerald Forest Project (above) did exactly that – they chose to add on Shop the Showroom to furnish their living room, even though our main project was their kitchen renovation.
Add-On #2: Custom Cabinetry
There’s no question that adding a custom built-in to your space is a surefire way to elevate your home. The addition of organized storage space, of course, is the most obvious benefit, but taking advantage of vertical space actually makes rooms feel larger, too. Add in the incredible durability that comes along with millwork, unique personalization opportunities, & an increase in your home’s value, and it’s a no-brainer.
By the way, even if you’ve hired us for a kitchen renovation or living room design, we’re happy to add custom cabinetry to other rooms in your home.
Those awkward nooks or unused spaces have the potential to become beautiful and practical through the magic of millwork. Whether it’s an office area, bar, nook, or a game room (like in our Emerald Forest Project above), custom built-ins are truly transformational.
Add-On #3: Project Consulting During Your Renovation
Receiving your detailed, comprehensive design from us is the final step in our design process. You will then hand the plans off to your general contractor & move on to the construction phase. If you live around San Antonio, however, you have the opportunity to add Project Consulting with us at this point.
While the design plans are specific, detailed, and include everything you need to manage the next portion of your project on your own, we’re happy to stay on board with you. We become an on-call resource for you for the duration of your construction, answering questions with an expert’s perspective when things come up. You’ll have the peace of mind that we’re just a phone call away.
Add-On #4: Virtual Reality & 3D Renderings
We know that it can be difficult to fully visualize your new space with only technical drawings & elevations as a guide. To help you gain a real immersive look at your design, we’re consistently embracing the latest tech.
Detailed 3D renderings, like those we made for the Northwood Project above, help you see your space virtually, giving you complete confidence in your design before moving into the construction phase. (& believe me, it’s always cheaper to make changes on paper than during the renovation.)
You also have the option to add on another visual experience that’s hard to beat — VR!
Once you put on the specialized goggles (or scan the QR code with your phone), you’ll be able to actually see your newly designed home, 360° around, up & down. Incredible, right?
Note: This Add-On is only available to clients who choose our “Luxe” service. (More on service options here.)
Add-On #5: Design for Additional Small Spaces
When you hire a design firm to complete a renovation or furnishing project, they will typically only work on larger spaces, like kitchens, living rooms & bathrooms. We’re a little different. We love the challenge that small spaces offer and are happy to add on design attention to another area in your home. Examples?
Whether you’re dreaming of a highly functional home office, an updated powder room, or a welcoming entryway, we’re here to help. These smaller spaces have incredible potential to add practicality & personality, and they’re worthy of beautiful design, too. This Add-On could even include a lighting design plan for your whole home to create a sense of unity & flow.
Case in point? The Ogden Lane Project above, where our clients added on design for a small, awkward space located between rooms. We transformed this little space into a beautiful and highly functional office niche! Or… our in-progress Northwood Project below, where we added a bar area onto the Kitchen Design.
