Meet the Team at Styleberry Creative Interiors
When I started designing for clients — just me, myself & I — I did it for the pure joy it brought me. I LOVED making homes beautiful. & as a highly organized, Type A personality, I loved developing a process for it all.
Although I never started Styleberry with the intention of building a team, my company grew organically from there. Each time we had the workload and revenue to support extra help, I would hire. The demand for our services kept growing, and with each key hire, the client experience became smoother & smoother… increasing demand again!
The rest, as they say, is history.
We now have a design team of 3 within our studio every day, and 12 (yes, twelve!) more people who virtually support Styleberry and our clients on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. That’s a total team of 15! Mind blown.
What these numbers don’t tell you…
Of course, looking at any small snapshot of a business never tells the whole story. Growth has been natural, but on a personal level, it was SO hard to accept that design would no longer be the thing that receives the most of my attention. With a team this size, my time is now best spent setting the company vision, managing the financials, overseeing creative direction, & nurturing the team.
If you’re also an entrepreneur or in a management role, then you know what I’m talking about: Leadership.
Being a leader takes constant effort, both in improving myself and in giving each team member the room or support they need to shine. & when you meet our team of talented women (and one amazing guy), I think you’ll see why this trade-off — design for leadership — has been a true labor of love.

Role: CEO, Chief Decision Maker, Creative Lead, and Number Cruncher
Favorite Part of the Week: Collaborative team design meetings, when the creativity runs wild!
Happy Hour Staple: I wish I could say I love wine or fancy cocktails, but the truth is…I don’t, and I am usually driving. Thus, nothin’ beats my evening Waterloo sparkling water. Grape is holding strong as my fave, but the short run of Blackberry Lemonade was a close second!
Fave TV Show: Schitt’s Creek (aka the happiest feel-good show on TV!) Recently we binged The Bear, and it was excellent!
Currently Reading: The Paper Palace (Reece’s Book Club is my favorite way to find new reads!)
Very Important People: My busy husband, Tommy, & very active big kids, Caroline & Everett. We also have fur-babies…Zoie our elderly kitty is 18 & Poppy our Boxer puppy is…my best worst decision ever.
When Not In the Studio: You’re most likely to find me driving my kids (from swim practice to lacrosse practices) and listening to my fave podcast (currently Pivot) along the way!

Role: Design Concepts, Drawings, & Alllll the Details
Favorite Part of the Week: Work from home afternoons for deep drawing and focus time
Happy Hour Staple: Spicy margarita, extra tajin on the rim.
Fave TV Show: Honestly…big reality TV fan. It’s a guilty pleasure!
Currently Reading: In the summer, I am most likely reading something cute & light hearted, but I also love a good memoir or historical fiction.
Very Important People: My two high school besties that I text every day, lots of local friends, and of course my husband (gross!).
When Not in the Studio: I am most likely to be found doing a DIY house project, cooking to jazz music, or hanging out with friends.

Favorite Part of the Week: Dreaming up the overall vision for clients’ homes in our collaborative team meetings!

If you’re an entrepreneur, this is proof that you should never compare your business to someone else’s — it’s SO hard to see how many people are involved, or to fully know the journey it took to get someone to that place of success. So, trust that you’re doing more than enough & that your journey is the right one for you.
